Nikon D5500 Unboxing – VLog #27

VLog #27 is a new toy debut video. I do the unboxing of my new Nikon D5500, Nikon SB-700, Nikon 17-55mm f/2.8 and Nikon 24mm f/2.8. I also do go through the initial setup of the D5500 and then I end the VLog with footage from the new camera.

EpicJonTuazon AR-15 Custom Build Part. 4

The conclusion of EpicJonTuazon AR-15 Lower build is in part 4. The lower assembly is completed with the installation of the buffer tube, buffer pin, take down pins, and the stock. Trickiest part is the take down pins which you only need a $6 tool. I’ve seen a few videos of people using razor blades, flat heads, but this $6 tool helps save you scratches and lost springs. Do it once and do it right. Check out the conclusion of the lower assembly build!

EpicJonTuazon AR-15 Custom Build Part. 3

In part 3 of the EpicJonTuazon AR-15 custom build series we near closer to completing the Anderson Manufacturing lower assembly. After installing the mag catch, the bolt catch, trigger, and hammer. We now head over to installing the safety, and the grip.

A slight miscalculation on my part. You should install the safety prior to installing the trigger. So if you are watching this video I do apologize but it’s a quick adjustment to throw the safety in then drop in the trigger assembly.

EpicJonTuazon AR-15 Custom Build Part. 2

In part 2 of the EpicJonTuazon AR-15 custom build I continue building the Anderson Manufacturing lower assembly with the installation of the trigger, the hammer, disconnector, and the Magpul trigger guard. This part may get a little tricky for the first time builders. Make sure you have the coils/springs facing the right direction otherwise your roll pins will slide out! Not too challenging but very detail oriented process.

EpicJonTuazon AR-15 Custom Build Part. 1

For part 1 of the EpicJonTuazon AR-15 custom build I will go through installing the bolt catch and the magazine catch in my Anderson Manufacturing forged lower. Both are pretty simple to do just need to hold the springs in place with tension so that they don’t go flying out when you try to pin them in place.
